The 2016 Toyota Avalon Receives an Upgrade

The Avalon, which has become a favorite for those looking for an affordable and stylish mid-sized sedan, has now received more upgrades and better styling for the new 2016 model year than previous years.  Still offering the veritable alphabet soup of models that include the XLE, XLE Plus, XLE Premium, Limited and Touring models, the Avalon shows up with not only V6 power, but also four-cylinder power and hybrid models to give you a great menu of choices to choose from and gain an Avalon that will fit your style and personality as well as give you the car you need for driving.

The style improvements put a focus on the front end giving the car a trimmed upper grill and a reshaped lower part that offers a bolder look.  New LED headlights show up along with turn signals that have been restyled as well as rear lights that are filled with LED features and chrome bumper accents.  The XLE and XLE Plus will receive 17-inch alloy wheels while the Touring model will feature new 18-inch aluminum rims.  At the top of the Avalon food chain the Limited model will offer 18-inch Super Chrome alloys to ride on.

The suspension system has also been reworked across the line to offer you a much nicer ride in the Avalon.  The XLE through Limited model now have a more compliant ride with the returning suspension systems while the Touring model adds what is called a Touring-spec suspension to offer a more dynamic and responsive driving experience than in previous years.  This will improve the already-enjoyable ride of the Avalon to the point of being close to the comfort and control of many luxury models on the market.

On the inside the Avalon now features premium wood grain dashboard accents and a larger 7.0-inch screen for the Entune Audio Plus soundsystem to give the pleasure of listening to your favorite music inside the car.  At the XLE Premium level the Entune includes Navigation and an App Suite along with Qi Wireless Charging to give you and your passengers more connectivity and keep all your devices charged up and ready to work for you.  On the Limited models some of the cool features includes are Lane Departure Alerts, the automatic high-beam headlights, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and a Pre-Collision System that are all part of the Technology Package.

If all this is enough to entice you toward a new Toyota Avalon, you still have a little time to wait for the 2016 model to be available.  This car is due to be offered at Toyota of Wallingford this fall, starting the model year off right with a great car that will give you some near luxury features and a menu of choices so you can have the Avalon you desire for the driving you do.  Until then, you can look forward to seeing more information about this freshly redesigned sedan that will certainly gain the attention of the entire nation.
