Big Changes for the Toyota Avalon and Toyota Corolla in 2013

There are few models in the new Toyota lineup that Toyota of Wallingford is more excited about than the all new 2013 Toyota Avalon.

Not only is this the first time that the full-size premium sedan will feature a hybrid fueltrain option capable of an impressive 40-mpg combined rating, but the new Avalon will sport a complete re-design while still holding on to that signature Toyota Avalon feel.

Yes, the enthusiasm surrounding the 2013 Toyota Avalon is certainly palpable, and it makes us even more thrilled to hear about updates for other models in the new Toyota lineup; especially, now that we've heard the venerable Toyota Corolla has undergone a transformation that could rival the overhaul of the Avalon.

Although details were recently limited, Toyota had confirmed that the Corolla would receive a complete visual-revamp. And specifically, recent photos show a stiffer body design with a lower hatchback than its outgoing generation.

And while looks are one thing, we're pretty happy to hear that the capable underpinnings of the 2012 Toyota Corolla are slated to remain unchanged for the forthcoming model year. That means we're pretty certain to see the same highly-efficient 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine that achieves up to 34 mpg highway in place for 2013 too.

To see the new Toyota Corolla and Avalon models for yourself, Toyota of Wallingford invites you to visit us at 859 North Colony Rd. Wallingford, CT 06492 upon their arrivals. And, in the meantime feel free to check out our currently available selection of new Toyota and gently used car models.
