Models including the 2012 Toyota Camry and Prius helped Toyota earn the number one spot in regards to Customer Brand Loyalty at KBB.com. Is it because Toyota cars are known for their safety? Maybe it is because Toyota cars are some of the longest lasting vehicles on the road today. Whatever the reason(s) are, it does not not come as a big surprise to the people at Toyota Of Wallingford.

KBB primarily did their research on customers in the 'shopping phase' - and included data from trade-in, private party searches, along with new car pages on their website. Akshay Anand, market web analyst for KBB.com, added, "Toyota has done a laudable job overcoming ? issues, introducing programs such as 'Toyota Care,' while getting its supply back online. The redesign of its flagship, the 2012 Toyota Camry, also helped drive interest to the brand and retain owners. All in all, there are positive trends for automakers. Traditional leaders like Toyota are leaving the problems in the past and looking toward bright futures?"¹

In case you weren't aware, the lauded Toyota Corolla is in for a redesign in its 2013 model year, and the Japanese automaker is currently testing it overseas. How does Toyota of Wallingford know this? If we were to say that we're employing a group of secretive spies to photograph the next-gen compact, we'd be lying. Rather, the test vehicle was simply spotted by a lucky bystander who happened to snap a couple quick shots of it.

Nonetheless, the pictures that our staff saw were enough to get us excited. The redesigned Corolla was seen sporting a hatchback body style (but we can safely expect a sedan variant), and it boasted some heavy camouflage in order to hide the finer points of the vehicle's reworked elements. This makes perfect sense, though, as Toyota doesn't want the vehicle's new look to surface before their official reveal.

However, no amount of camo can stop a well-trained eye from spotting some of the changes that Toyota has in store for the Corolla in 2013. So what has changed? First, there's the front-end grille. It's unique V shape caught our attention almost right off the bat. Meanwhile, other elements, like the headlights and body lines, are clearly inspired by the redesign that the 2012 Toyota Camry saw.

We don't know about you, but hearing this is more than enough to get us excited to see what else the Toyota Corolla has in store for the 2013 model year.
