The 2013 Stagecoach Country Music Festival taking place this weekend in Indio, California, will play host to the 4Runner's debut. The SUV will have quite the welcoming to the 2014 lineup on Toyota's exclusive stage on Saturday, April 27^th, with the help of SiriusXM radio personality, Buzz Brainard, and country superstar, Dierks Bentley.

Toyota's participation in the festival doesn't stop after the SUV's veil is pulled-- the presenting sponsor will remain involved in the festival for all three days through their special fan experience gathering onsite.

Titled "Toyota World of Wonders," the vintage circus-themed celebration will offer a whimsical atmosphere for festival goers to escape off to. The imaginative oasis includes activities like the Camry Claw, which is a quirky twist off the arcade classic; players drop the claw through the sedan's sunroof to capture prizes. There's also a photo booth, a mobile charging station, and a Cooling Zone, complete with refreshing misters, making Toyota's special sanctuary both fun and functional.

Though California is quite the trip from Wallingford, CT, we anticipate that this is just the start of Toyota's shift to reveals and innovative involvement with music festivals.

But what really drew us to the RAV4 was that exterior we mentioned earlier. The Toyota crossover featured stylish blacked-out 20-inch wheels, arches, and front-end fascia. Combined with its bold shade of brick red, the RAV4 could be a superhero. Like many crusaders from the comics, this car looks fierce, daring, and powerful.

Unfortunately, that's as far as we can go when it comes to power. Toyota has yet to disclose the vehicle's powertrain options. The automaker also hasn't confirmed whether we'd be seeing the RAV4 Adventure make its way to dealership showrooms like the one here at Toyota of Wallingford.

And, speaking of exportation, Toyota, being on top of market trends is set to export its flagship Toyota Venza crossover to new, thriving markets overseas, in Europe.

Specifically, after the first batch of new Venza models are created in the automaker's newly dedicated Georgetown, Kentucky manufacturing plant, in April 2013, Toyota will export 5,000 to Russia and Ukraine within the first year. The number will also only likely increase after that.

So, what are they?

1. Fuel Cell Technology: Toyota and Bimmer are planning to design a brand-new fuel cell system. Both entities have been working on this type of project for quite some time on their own. However, they always seem to go off in other directions during the process. This time however, after sharing information with one another, the two companies will work together to create a joint-fuel cell platform.


2. New Sports Car: The two automakers are planning on building a brand-new mid-size sports car by the end of this year.


3. Lightweight Technologies: The addition of Bimmer/Toyota lightweight technologies to vehicles is very promising for the new Toyota models we'll have soon at Toyota of Wallingford.


4. Batteries: This final project is in regard to lithium-air batteries that are sure to make our Toyota parts specialists very excited. That's because Toyota and the B are set to design a new lithium-air that will outperform all the rest.

Quite recently, the brand-new, redesigned 2014 Toyota RAV4 was introduced to eager auto fans at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. The new model featured exciting revamps and since its debut has attracted many a fan praising the auto for its innovation and modern style. One very intriguing speculation has piqued our interest, and that's that Toyota may be planning to create a hybrid version of its flagship CUV.

There will be a possibility of introducing a hybrid RAV4 and we will respond to what the market wants."¹
