New Partnership Emerges between Toyota and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America

Toyota has recently partnered up with the Boys and Girls Club of America, in an effort to promote youth education. Their ultimate goal is to help increase high school graduation rates throughout the country, while preparing students for the next step in their academic career. They have named this initiative "D2D - Diplomas to Degrees." This interactive program will provide young students and teenagers with a number of resources to help them excel in the classroom. This program will also help students explore post-graduation options and foster relationships with mentors.

Toyota is providing valuable funding for the project, including a $1.5 million grant over three years to help provide tools, resources and support. Toyota made the official announcement at Bowie State University, where over 150 local teens and Boys & Girls Clubs of America representatives were on hand. Both Toyota and the Boys and Girls Club of America expressed their excitement as they outlined plans and the importance of this initiative.

Toyota of Wallingford, located at 859 North Colony Rd in Wallingford, CT, is honored to be part of a company as unselfish as Toyota. We invite you to stay tuned for more on the initiative, and encourage you to consider your own local Boys & Girls Clubs branch if you're interested in helping.
