Body Styles, Models and Options

The Toyota Tundra is available in three models, the Regular Cab, Double Cab or the Crewmax.

Standard with each model is High Solar Energy-Absorbing (HSEA) glass, power outside mirrors, easy lower and lift tailgate, deck rails and tailgate caps as well as color-keyed upper and chrome lower front bumper with a chrome grill.

Powertrain and Performance

Depending on the model, the Tundra comes with a 4.0-liter, 4.6-liter or 5.7-liter engine. The 5.7-liter engine is comprised of a DOHC 32-Valve i-Force V8 with Dual Independent Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i). This engine outputs 381 horsepower at 5600 RPM and 401 lb.-ft. of torque at 3600 RPM.

The engine is also designed to work seamlessly with a 6-speed Electronically Controlled Transmission with intelligence (ECT-i), sequential shift mode, uphill/downhill shift logic, as well as TOW/HAUL mode.

To ensure that all wheels stay on the ground, the 2011 Toyota Tundra comes standard with front independent coil-spring high-mounted double-wishbone suspension with a stabilizer bar and low-pressure nitrogen gas shocks. The rear suspension is made up of a live axle with trapezoidal multi-leaf rear suspension and staggered outboard-mounted low-pressure nitrogen gas shocks.
