Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options

The 2011 Toyota Highlander comes in five different models, including the base, SE, Limited, Hybrid and Hybrid Limited. With this many options, there is sure to be a model for everyone.

Each model comes standard with integrated fog lamps, projector-beam headlamps with auto on/off feature, UV reduction glass windshield, rear liftgate window defogger, as well as in-glass AM/FM antenna.

The 2011 Toyota Highlander has plenty of performance features available. The base model and the SE come standard with a 2.7-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine that creates 187 horsepower and 186 lb.-ft. of torque. The Limited model comes with a 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 to create 270 horsepower and 248 lb.-ft. of torque. Both of these models are rated as Ultra Low Emission Vehicle II (ULEV-II).

If you are considering the Hybrid or the Hybrid Limited, you will notice the 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine. These models are rated as Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicles (SULEV) and have the evaporative emission certification.

To create a comfortable ride, each model comes with 4-wheel independent MacPherson strut suspension with front and rear stabilizing bars, as well as Electric Power Steering (EPS).

Safety
